Would you like to take part in my ‘Couch to 5K’ (C25K) programme?


Designed at training you to be able to complete either a non stop 5K or 30 minute run within a 10 week period, my C25K programme is ideal for the beginner, or ‘couch potato’ to get started.

We will meet twice a week for 10 weeks and very gently and gradually increase our running distance over the period.

This is an absolutely perfect programme for those who are fed up of being restricted by diabetes or obesity.    The end goal is to free you from type II diabetes through fitness and help you on a programme of weight loss and a healthier happier new you.

 


WHAT’S THE CATCH?

There isn’t one.  I don’t want paying, I don’t want any publicity, I simply want to help you enjoy your life more.

 


WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO DO?

Simply fill in the form via the contact page.

It is crucial that you discuss this with your doctor and that he or she approves of you undertaking this programme.  I will require a signed letter from your doctor to say that you have permission.


WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BUY?

Absolutely nothing.  Before we start the 10 weeks, we will all have a meeting and discuss the course, any worries that you might have, any concerns and any questions.  It’s important that between us, we decide that this is the right approach for you, and that you can commit to the 10 week plan.  If you can, then we can look at buying fancy kit and trainers etc further down the line, but for now, all that is needed is a smile, some determination, and you!

 


WHAT DO I WANT FROM YOU?

All that I require from you, is your trust in my methods for 10 short enjoyable weeks, and a level of commitment to the programme.  There will be times when you don’t want to take part, when you want to stay in bed, or don’t fancy stepping out in to the cold.  This is where you need to step up and take a leap of faith.  If you can do that, I’ll do all I can to help and support you in every other way.
